Aftercare

Good aftercare is important to allow the skin to recover and prevent irritation. After a waxing treatment, the skin may temporarily be somewhat sensitive or slightly red. This is a normal reaction and usually disappears within a few hours. For an optimal recovery, we recommend that you:

avoid direct sunlight and the sunbed for the first 24 hours
do not use a sauna, steam bath or hot bath for the first 24 hours
avoid intensive exercise during the first 24 hours
preferably wear loose, breathable clothing to prevent friction
keep the skin well hydrated with a nourishing cream or oil
scrub the skin 2 to 3 days after the treatment and then regularly to help prevent ingrown hairs
touch the treated skin as little as possible with unwashed hands

How long does it take for the hair to grow back?

How long does the hair have to be for waxing?

The hair should be at least 1/4 inch (6mm) long. If it is too short, the wax cannot grab it properly. Do not shave at least 3-4 days before your appointment.

Can I have a waxing treatment when I am pregnant?
